About Us

How did we start?

Kernow Satellites was started from home, with a car as a part-time job.

By 1995 the business had grown enough to be recognised by Sky TV, who gave us our own agency. In 1998 we aquired the Sky Digital contract and bought an extra vehicle. Within two months we had employed a full time company secretary and an installation trainee.

By July 1999 we had opened a shop and had seven employees, including four fully trained Sky or CIA engineers. We also had a fleet of four installation vans. At the end of 1999, we added TV repair, a computer repair service and aerial installation to our services.

Where are we now?

“The way we treat our customers is what sets us apart from the rest”.

We are proud of our exemplary customer service and attention to detail. We treat every domestic installation as though it was in our own home.

During the past 20 years the business has developed and established. We now focus on satellite installation including;  Freesat, satellite dish replacement and repair, motorised satellite dishes, specialised systems, Dreambox and other enthusiast receivers. Also digital TV upgrades, Freeview digital receivers, aerial installations, DVD, Blu Ray and 4K systems.
